This Is an Independent Contractor Role
Let’s be clear: You’ll be working as a 1099 independent contractor, not a W-2 employee.
You’re responsible for handling your own taxes
You set your own availability (within shift needs)
You’ll receive a contract outlining pay, schedule, and expectations
You won’t receive benefits like health insurance, PTO, or employer-covered taxes
